Remi Siciliano is a photomedia artist based in Sydney, Australia, working with a hybrid practice of analogue and digital image making.
Remi's work explores the effect of screen surfaces on contemporary photographic practice - documenting the residue, marks, grime and ephemera on phone screens, and exploring structural changes to images as a result of the proliferation of digital photographic technologies. Other lines of enquiry include reimagining the artefacts of technological progression and practicing experimental darkroom processes and alternative modes of photographic image making.
Remi has a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Sydney College of the Arts majoring in Photomedia.
